This is a typical Arts & Craft style house situated within the Holly Lodge Estate conservation area in Highgate. The extension to the existing detached house needed to deal with the form and scale of the original. The design of the rear extension is a fenestrated facade which accentuates the original form of the house while providing a spacious and light interior to create a new family living space.

The design improves the connection with the mature rear garden and creates a bright and open feel while the scale of the windows retain a classic look. The project required the complete refurbishment of the interior and redesign of the layout including a new loft extension.
