This is a Victorian terrace house in Highbury. It was previously used as two flats and our renovation included a roof extension to form one single dwelling.

The lower ground and ground floors are connected by a bespoke spiral staircase in mild steel with walnut steps to create a light filled double height space between the two levels. A colourful existing windows provide a focus for the living room as well as lighting up the ground and lower ground. The whole house provides a modern internal shell within a traditional building to house the owners eclectic tastes.
