Princelet Street

The existing building is a 1930’s concrete frame building set within the historic Georgian buildings of Princelet Street and Fournier Street.

The proposal is for a penthouse apartment on the flat roof of the existing building. The new building looks westwards over historic courtyards towards the city skyline. The deep plan and the high position means that the apartment is light filled. the exterior form of the building takes from its context of pitched roofs and mansards while the interior is contemporary.
