This is a house situated within the walled city of Magusa in North Cyprus.

It is a complete renovation of an existing derelict Ottoman House, a Turkish hamam and historic Venetian walls from the courtyard enclosure. The intention is to create a simple authentic dwelling with minimal intervention. We looked at the project with a fresh approach and decided to relocate the staircase in order to provide better circulation and more flexible rooms throughout the house. A new terrace from the first floor creates views to the historic old town.
