This is a grade II listed early Victorian house located on a historic street in Hampstead. The house had undergone a major but unsympathetic renovation in the 1990’s.

Our brief was to redesign the layout to create a comfortable contemporary home while retaining the elegance of the original house. A small rear infill extension is used to intensify the natural light and to make the space work. In addition, the glazed doors link the lower ground to the classically laid out garden with views to Goldfinger’s Willow Road house. The original rooms on the upper floors have been refinished with new bathrooms and en-suites but also with conservation in mind.
