Brian O'Reilly Architects provides high quality work that is as inventive as it is pragmatic, an architecture that aims to surprise and delight. The work is usually bespoke and we enjoy the craft of making and the process of designing bespoke furniture and individual pieces.
Brian O'Reilly Architects was founded by Brian O'Reilly in 2004 with the help of her partner Tijen. Brian and Tijen met at South Bank University in 1991 while studying for their degree in architecture. The formation of the practice is the result of their desire to bring together their experience and ideas and to determine their own architecture as well as to realise their designs and make things happen. Brian and Tijen live and work in Camden.
The practices approach is personal and each project brings its own process andunique response through the detailed examinations of the needs of the clients. We work closely with our clients, with each generating its own architecture in response to the physical, social and historical conditions of each site. Our aim is to realise buildings.
We are building orientated and the practice produces work on a variety of scales from furniture to competition entries for large projects.
